About my experience:

An accomplished hotelier with over 30 years in the industry. Throughout the course of my career, I have had the pleasure of working with many brands in various roles. I started working in the hotel industry on the F&B side of the business and eventually switched over to the hotel side and never looked back. I have knowledge of many roles within the hotel industry. I had the rare opportunity to start my career in this industry by being the face to greet customers at the front door to be the person to hire employees who greeted customers who entered those same doors. Customer service is very important to me, and I believe is the number one role of all positions in any industry. I am well-versed in using independent decision-making skills and sound judgment to positively impact the success of the company.

How I would describe my management style:

Motivating and leading others in my team. As the saying goes, you’re only as strong as your weakest link. My job is to ensure that there isn’t a weak link and that the team works together in collaboration and decision-making that will adhere to the best outcome for the client. Relationship building is important to me in management, and I want all involved to feel as though they are not replaceable.

I am very goal-driven and ensure I see all projects through to completion. I research every positive outcome to any problem and find the best and most efficient path to it. I will not rest until I know my hotels are happy, personal relationship-building is very important to me.

Personal:

I was born, raised, and still reside in Upstate New York (Yes, there is more to New York than the city) where we New Yorkers enjoy all four seasons every year. I love to be able to ice skate, water ski, and hike all in the same place.

In my spare time, I coach my kid’s sports teams and if we aren’t practicing or playing a game, I am at our hometown fields doing maintenance to ensure upkeep or serving as a board member. My family is a very integral part of my life.

• Food: Ethnic Italian, give me all the noodles and sauce.
• Hobby: Sports; basketball, baseball, golf, and anyone want to play cornhole?
• Artist: I love most music, and all depends on my mood.
• TV Show: Usually, a baseball game or some sort of sporting event.
• Place: Any place I can be with my family and outside.
